Lynn is married to King Ramey, owner of Razzmataz Dancewear Store.  They have a 27 year old son, Archer, who graduated Baylor Law School and a 24 year old daughter, Joy, that also grduated from Baylor University.  Lynn and King are members at Grace Community Church in Tyler.





Renee' Allen - Instructor

Renee’ is entering her 18th year as a teacher with Dance-N-Drill.  Renee’ started with Mrs. Lynn 33 years ago as a member of the “Tyler Golden Girls.”


Renee’ is the Director of the Dance-N-Drill Dancers, Junior Jazz Competition Team, Youth, Junior and Senior Contemporary Teams and Junior and Senior “Extreme” Hip Hop Teams, Assistant Director for the “Tyler Golden Girls” as well as Head Coach for the D-N-D “Flyers” All-Star Cheer Teams

Renee’ has been married 26 years to her husband Jack and they live in Whitehouse, Tx.  They have a 20 year old son Jackson who attends Northwestern State University majoring in Criminal Justice/History. The Allen's attend the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Tyler.







Jody Crocker - Instructor

Jody is a new addition to the Flyers staff and is originally from Henderson, Texas.  

He currently resides in Tyler and attends Tyler Junior College where he is pursuing an associates degree in Health Studies. He will then attend the University of Texas at Tyler where he sill pursue a Bachelor’s of Applied Science of Health Studies.

Jody does private lessons to train athletes in jumps, tumbling and strengthening.

His qualifications include:

  • Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, hand-balancing, tricking, Olympic power lifting, and most importantly cheerleading, stunting and tumbling.
  • Certified from the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and AHA’s Heart Savers First Aid. Future certifications include a Group Exercise Instructor from the American College of Sports Medicine.

"All my friends are under 5 and can't drive" is Jeanne's favorite quote.  Her passion is working with the younger girls, and she just completed 16yrs with Dance-N-Drill.

It's exciting to see the students change and grow in their confidence and abilities!






Yayoi Jones - Instructor

Director of Dance-N-Drill’s Wings Ballet Company


Graduate from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance


Has taught College level dance at Tyler Junior College for the past 4 years


Started classical ballet dance at Wakabayashi Ballet School, Japan at the age of 3


Her ballet repertoire in “The Nutcracker” – including Arabian, Russian, Snow, Waltz of the Flowers, and Dew Drop.  Other ballets include “Pas De Quatre”, “Coppelia”, Raymonda”, “Swan lake”, “Giselle”, Sleeping Beauty”, and “Don Quixote”


 Former dancer with Kista Tucker Danced Company and Houston and Sam Houston State University Dance Company 


Yayoi and her husband Michael have been married for 7 years.  They have a daughter, Yuki, that is five and a boy named Kenji!!







Gayla Morrison - Instructor

Gayla teaches Musical Theatre at Dance-N-Drill.  She has taught the performing arts for over 30+ years in the East Texas area. She has a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies (Music, Theatre, Art) and Bachelor of General Studies with an emphasis in Business from UT-Tyler.  

She participated in several Tyler Civic Theatre Summer Musicals including Lil Abner, Sound of Music, Bye, Bye, Birdie, FOOTLOOSE! and HAIRSPRAY. She was the stage manager for "Pollyanna" as well as a S.T.A.R. summer camp instructor.  She enjoys 'building a character' and Ernestina Money in the Pollard Spring Musical "Hello Dolly" was her favorite character to portray.  She knows all aspects of theatre including set-building, prop creation, choreography, blocking, staging, costuming, hair and makeup.  She has directed UIL One Act Plays and numerous short plays for the stage. Her favorite collaborative effort was co-directing the musical by Rodger's and Hammertein, "Oklahoma!" 

Gayla judges local and state twirling/dance competitions and has trained many contestants for pageants, acting auditions and majorette tryouts.  She enjoys teaching twirling in her spare time and is the former owner of Twirl-N-Whirl Baton and Dance Studio in Whitehouse. She loves her job as a public relations representative and is thrilled to be on the staff of Dance-N-Drill.  




Mikayla Russell - Instructor

I have been with Dance-N-Drill for the past 15 years.

I have been an assistant teacher for the past 5 years.

I am thrilled to become a teacher this year of the cheer classes.

I have been the Assistant Coach for the D-N-D Flyers All-Star Cheerleaders for 5 years.  I was honored to also be a member of the 

D-N-D Flyers cheer teams for 7 years. 

I was a member of the Dance-N-Drill “Extreme” Hip Hop Team for 7 years.

I am currently attending the University of Texas at Tyler to get my degree in education.

I plan on getting my Masters in Special Education.



Lindsey Stein - Instructor

My journey with dance began at the age of two. I started with the Mommy & Me classes and increased my experience through the various classes offered at Dance-N-Drill. 

I served as a member of the Tyler Golden Girls city-wide Drill Team, the Dance-N-Drill Dancers, D-N-D Flyers All-Star Cheerleaders as well as other competitive teams.  

I also served as a member of the Robert E. Lee High School Southern Belle Drill Team and was honored to be selected as on officer my Senior Year.  

Throughout college I became an assistant at Dance-N-Drill where my passion for dance has grown and now I am so humbled to begin this year as a teacher! 

I love this studio and the people.



Stephanie Walker - Instructor

*Taught ballet and modern dance classes for 8 years at Peggy's Dance Studio (Baker, LA)
*Trained through Dance Masters of America (New York)
*Former Founder & Director of Revelation Dance Company (Baker, LA)
*Has taken dancers to participate in Project Dance (outreach in New York City)
*Has led mission trips; teaching ballet in orphanages and shelters in several countries
*Former member of the Sacred Dance Guild
*Has performed in theatrical productions of the Tyler Civic Theatre

Stephanie and her husband, Jeff, are newly married and have four adult children. Their most recent missions trip was working with the Syrian refugees in a middle eastern country. They are members of Crosspointe Community Church.



Savannah Williams - Instructor

This is Savannah’s first year as a teacher at Dance-N-Drill.


Savannah began dancing at the age of two in Dance-N-Drill's Mommy & Me class and has never looked back.

Savannah has assisted numerous classes at Dance-N-Drill since the age of fourteen, teaching classes in teacher's absence and is so excited to be teaching at Dance-N-Drill!




Katherine Wood - Instructor

This is Katherine’s seventh year as a teacher at Dance-N-Drill.

Was a Dance-N-Drill Assistant for 6 years and began teacher her own classes in 2009. I feel that this is what I was meant to do, I love working with young girls and teenagers! It greatly fulfills me to get to know my kiddos and watch them grow into incredible dancers and inspiring young women.  I count my blessings when I walk into work everyday. 


Katherine has been married to  her husband, Kevin Wood, since June of 2013. They attend Pollard UMC, where Katherine is blessed enough to teach Sunday school to 1st and 2nd graders!
